texas football
I have been a die hard teaxs longhorns fan for 5 years now. I like teaxs football the most. they have lost a good QB (quarter back), but this year they have a good QB (Garret Gilbert). he finished with 264 yards on 30-of-45 passing with a late touchdown to james kirkendoll. Even though they miserable lost to ucla 34-12. It was there first loss of the season and if they lose another, then they risk there chances of going to the BCS National championship. they went last year and there star QB (Colt Mccoy) dislocated his shoulder and was forced to sit the bench. their coach mack brown has been with the longhorns for 12 years and has went 128 and 27 in his texas coaching career. Texas has won four championships, in 1963 1969 1970 and 2005. they play Oklahoma oct.2, 2010. lets hope that texas comes out with the win.

A reply to texas football. I will agree that texas has been an effective football team for many of years now, but i do not think that this year will be their year of making it to the BCS National Championship this year and probley not even next year because of their quarterback. Yes Gilbert is a fairly good QB, but just this year he has already thrown 4 interceptions and only 4 touchdowns. Yes i know he is just a sophmore quarterback but look at past sophmore quarterbacks, for example Terrelle Pryor, his sophmore year he only threw 11 INT's. If Gilbert keeps throwing INT's, Texas will have more losses like they just had against UCLA. I have respect for the Longhorns but if they keep this up, it will not be a very good year.
