I didn't grow up a Longhorn fan, but I became one quickly when I started going to UT in 2002, developing an equal love for Austin and love for the Longhorn, and the passion has only grown since then, reaching a pinnacle with the two championships in 2005, though hardly declining since then. from (GhostofBigRoy)
Well GhostofBigRoy, I haven’t been a Texas fan all my life either. My time of being a Texas fan started 6yrs ago and it will never end. Garret Gilbert and James Kirkendoll are both good players and if they work together as hard as they can then they will break records. I guess I just have to say that I love the longhorns and there recent loss to UCLA was a bummer to me. Their game against the Sooners will hopefully be better and maybe they will get to at least get a big 12 division title this year. Hey, I have some curiosities about NCAA football and about the Texas Longhorns. At first I want to know: how many times did the longhorns win the national championship? What did they win in 2005? Which is the most traditional college football team (the team that won more NCAA championships)? Is the University of Texas in Austin?
ReplyDeleteI watched some longhorns' games; they are awesome, but not better than University of Illinois!
