Texas Longhorns defeat Nebraska Cornhuskers for a 20-13 victory

HI people I am back with more Texas longhorn’s news. The longhorns beat the cornhuskers 20-13. Garret Gilbert ran for two touchdowns in the game, to lead the longhorns in the first half. The cornhuskers have been waiting to get revenge on their loss to longhorns in the previous season.

“They had more pressure on them today than us, and that's unusual," Texas coach Mack Brown said. "I thought their fans hung in there with them. But I could feel some of their fans, when we got up 10-0 thinking, 'You've got to be kidding, not again."' Texas has won 9/10 of the games played against the huskers since 96’. Texas came to the game as an underdog and pulled it out for the win. “Texas defensive lineman Sam Acho said he and his teammates tuned out any talk of a grudge match with the Huskers.” Texas is 5-2 and they are looking for another victory vs. Iowa State on the 23^rd. so all of those Texas fans listening out there go cheer for them in their upcoming game.
